The Kortho Graphicjet  ink jet printers are the best choice for high resolution coding and marking on porous as well as on non-porous surfaces. Because of the piezoelectric print-head technology and the 256 individually addressable dots the printers are capable of marking in a very sharp graphic print.

At one of Kortho’s  customer has installed some 23 systems in total for Bar Code tracking purposes in Thailand.

In the application, barcodes and human readable characters are applied to the shipping containers in order that the containers can be " tracked " through the warehouse. The barcodes are then scanned using fixed laser scanners in order that the containers can be diverted to specific locations in the customer's warehouse.

In addition to this, the bar codes are also scanned in the warehouse, previous to shipping.    

Obviously, this installation provides us with an excellent reference and serves as proof that the bar codes printed with high resolution (185 dpi) at an excellent quality are indeed readable. The maintenance requirement is absolutely minimal and the cost of a barcode’s print is very low.
