The new enclosure cocoons the printer completely in a watertight, stainless steel box. There is a small aperture, where the ribbon touches the packaging material, but this can be closed when the printer is not being used.

There is no avoiding moisture getting into the printers in these harsh environments but to enable the enclosure to withstand this, Easyprint has integrated heating elements into the enclosure, which efficiently and quickly get rid of any moisture that might just happen to get in.

This new thermal transfer printer gives harsh production environments the benefit of enjoying the same print quality and operational benefits as the non-harsh production environments.
